Top Five Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Meeghan @ Meeghan Reads. Today’s topic was Top 5 books I didn’t get to in 2021.
I got first book from Sam @ Fictionally Sam when I was having a bad day but never got the second book despite liking the story. I just really wanted to get rest of the series in hardcover but so far they’re way too expensive. I’m waiting books two and three go into sale.
I have wanted to read Chain of Gold since I preordered it but of course I still haven’t even started it yet. Hopefully 2022 is the year I finally get motivation. I think I’m going to love it and I’ve really missed the Herondales.
I managed to finish my Heroes of Olympus reread in 2021 but didn’t start reading Kane Chronicles yet. I own all three books but it won’t have any characters from the earlier series, so I haven’t felt motivated even after all these years but I really want to read them.
I rarely read books with shapeshifters but I was surprised how much I liked the first book.
I don’t know a lot about this book to be honest. I just knew I wanted to read it after I heard about it in a discord group. It’s supposed to have smut and it’s Captain Hook retelling and after watching Once Upon a Time I gotta say that I have a weakness for Killian Jones.

I also didn’t get around to reading Hooked last year! I heard the second book was suppose to be even better so I’ve pushed it a ways up on my TBR for this year! Hopefully I’ll be able to get around to it soon…
Also I am going to be super excited and giddy when you are able to read KOFF! The way Im doing a happy dance just thinking about it!

Hooked is in my TBR this month. When do you plan to read it? I can’t wait to read KOFF. I’m so exited to read more about Poppy and Cas.

Haven’t decided yet! I’ve got some big books on my TBR this month, so it all depends on if I can get through them before hand!

I bought Hooked at some stage last year on my kindle… I just need to find time to read it!! Annnnnd, I say wait for KoFaF (sorry Sam). It was… ok. 😅 Great list, and I hope you had fun this week Jamsu 😘💕

I just started KoFaF and already enjoying it even more than the first one! We both need to read Hooked in 2022

Do you have time to read this month or when? I’d suggest splitting the chapters. I usually do that or otherwise I finish books months before others and forget what they were about when my buddies finally finishes a book just ask Ruby 😂

I can do it in March or April? (We’re talking about Hooked, right?) my Feb has way too many books on the list and I’ve read none of them. 😅

Ooooo Hooked is on my list! (Admittedly I was interested just from the cover lol.) I still haven’t read Chain of Gold and recently got Chain of Iron as well – maybe we could buddy read it? 👀
