Birthday Q&A

Birthday Q&A

I decided to a Q&A for my birthday since I didn’t know another way to celebrate in my blog. Happy 26th to me!

2021’s best surprise?

I got an apartment loan so I’m getting my very own apartment by the end of 2021 hopefully!

Favorite supernatural creature?

Demons! I don’t know why but I find them so hot.

What was your best birthday and why?

I think it was when I was about thirteen when I watched Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie with my ex friend and ate brownies that had little swords in it (inspired by season two finale of the show). I don’t know why but I just really loved kind of having my only themed birthday party I can remember.

My favorite thing to journal?

My memory/ life journal. I just think it will be the journal I look forward to look back to some day.

When and how did you get into journaling?

I wanted some way to track my school and work schedules etc and learned about bullet journaling thanks to Pinterest and Youtube. I thought it would be easier than an actual calendar and I enjoyed it for awhile but now I use regular calendar again while I use journaling pretty much for everything else.

Have you asked for anything in particular? Or know you’re getting anything special?

I didn’t really ask for anything special but I do know one of my sisters is giving me a copy of Silver Saints by Fiona Davenport. I’m currently obsessed by their writing.

What birthday cake do you want?

I don’t know if it’s a thing in other countries but I requested a sandwich cake from my mom. It’s delicious and I just started liking it a few years ago, so it feels really new to me.

Are you doing anything exciting?

My best friend is going to spend the night today (13th) and I bought us maybe too much snacks: at least three different potato chips, chocolate, marshmallows and we’re of course eating the cake mom made me. I’m think I’m finally going to make her watch Buffy the vampire slayer movie since a question earlier reminded me that she’s never seen it or maybe some short TV show.

On 14th I’ll see Jonna (she’s the sister I’m the most close to) and we’re going to go out to eat and celebrate my birthday.

Then on 15th when it’s Friday I’m going to spend the night at Tanja’s and we’ll probably try to finally finish Heroes season three.

Top reads of the year so far?
Fav songs atm?

I don’t really listen to music that much. I do listen music in Spotify but none of them are songs I want scream at others to listen.

Favorite book read so far in your life?

I wish I could pick one since I admire people who can always think about a book series that got them into reading or something nostalgic but I’m not really into any of the books that got me into reading anymore (like The Mortal Instruments, Hush Hush, House of Night) and my favorite books changes all the time. I think some series that never change are The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare and Lux by Jennifer L. Armentrout, so I’m going to go with them.

A book you can read over and over and never get tired of?

I always hate answering bookish questions with Fifty Shades since it’s so hated series but I read it yearly and watch the movie pretty much yearly and I’m still not sick of it.

What’s your favorite go to journal item (notebook, pen etc.)

I don’t know if this means a favorite journal item all in all (if so it’s stickers) but if it means what kind of pens etc I prefer:

  • Notebook: Whatever is the cheapest but I prefer bullet journals over blank and lined paper
  • Pen: Gel pens
  • Black pen: erasable black ink pen
If you could travel anywhere in the world where would it be?

Somewhere hot during Finnish winter! There are actual places I’d like to visit anytime of the year like Paris, London, Rome etc. but I’ve always wished I could travel somewhere warm during the winters here since I can remember.

How did you spend your last birthday? If you could travel anywhere in the world where would it be?

  1. AAH I hope you celebrated in style Jamsu!! Happiest of birthdays! No shame yo liking 50SOG or reading it every year, at the end of the day all that matters is that it makes you happy and it brings you joy. I love that you had a themed birthday party. Can’t say I had many birthday parties, I wasn’t truly a fan of them. I think the only ones I had were the ones my parents made me have LOL.
