Synopsis:

She’s been off-limits from the moment I laid eyes on her. Stranded on the side of the road, she became more than that beautiful woman I saved one night. She became my obsession. Even though she’s only nineteen, and I’m nearly twice her age.

I’ve basically become her stalker, but I can’t help it. Months ago, her big sister Katie was almost the victim of a serial killer during a first date gone wrong. Nothing like that is ever going to happen to my Chrissie.

Keeping her safe is all I care about.

Until the night my surveillance catches her talking about wanting to lose her v-card.

That’s when the real obsession begins…

The Loner’s Obsession is an age gap book and if you don’t mind overly possessive hero and almost half his age heroine I think you could really enjoy this one.  It’s the first Felicity Raine book I’ve ever read and I’m glad I did.

Dax comes from a family of addicts so he knows forbidden fruit tastes the sweetest and he can’t help but wanting Chrissie. She’s the youngest kid in her family and used to taking care of everyone but Dax wants to take care of her. She’s used to only counting on herself only but Dax is always there for her, no matter what. I found it sweet how neither felt like they were good enough for each other and secretly wanted each other.

All in all it was a short and steamy book.
