Books I Meant to Read In 2020 but Didn’t Get To

ttt

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl

Today’s theme is books I meant to read in 2020 but for some reason didn’t.

1. Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare

I don’t really know why I haven’t picked this one up yet. I’m really interested in what happens with James and Matthew and also I’d like to see more Wessa. But also I’m afraid of possible angst. I know it’s way worse in my head but this is a huge book and I’m just afraid to read it alone.

2. Eidolon by Grace Draven

Another book I’m afraid but still exited to read. I just loved the first book so much.

3. The Iron Trial by Holly Black and Cassandra Clare

I rarely read middle grade/ young adult books anymore but I want to give this a shot. Two amazing writers co-writing a series and I own almost all books from this series already.

4. Fire in His Blood by Ruby Dixon

I really want to get to Dixon’s dragon series but I also want to finish her alien books first– there’s just so many of them!

5. Win Some, Lose Some by Shay Savage

I love the idea of another book with autistic character. I have read Savage’s caveman book several times and want to give her other work a chance too.

6. Her Alpha by Fiona Davenport

Sequel to Her Wolf!

7. 9 From The Nine Worlds by Rick Riordan

The reason I started rereading like all of Riordan’s work but I never even finished Heroes of Olympus.

8. The Burning Shadow by Jennifer L. Armentrout

I didn’t love the first book of the series but I hope the series gets better. It’s a spin off to one of my favorite series ever, Lux and I’m not ready to give up.

9. Midnight Sun by Stephanie Meyer

Twilight in Edward’s POV!

10. The Lost Book of The White by Cassandra Clare

Yet another Clare book! This one is part of her Malec series.

What books did you mean to read in 2020?
