Heir to a crumbling empire.
And engaged to a woman he loathes.
Then he meets the girl with the violet eyes,
best friend of his wife to be.
The more she resists him,
the more his dark desires consume him to claim her.
Green with envy,
driven by lust,
one kiss is all it will take to ruin everything.

“The woman I am forced to marry is nothing in comparison to this goddess. She doesn’t know my name, and I know everything will change once she does.”

I decided to join this Release Blitz because for some reason I thought it would be Alexa Riley or Fiona Davenport kind of book where the hero would do everything to get the heroine bu I would’ve probably DNF’d this if it wasn’t part of Give Me Books Promotions. I just gave it extra half star because I like the last maybe 20% of it.

Sai is a manwhore and I didn’t really understand the whole monster part of him. I really felt bad for him after learning everything about his childhood. He could be such a jerk but he also had his moments.

Kennedy is not shy or nervous kind of person but she doesn’t like people. She’s smart and nice person but she can’t help but be drawn to Sai despite him being engaged with her best friend.
