It’s The Readalong Diaries next month, so I decided to create The Vampire Diaries book tag. The only The Vampire Diaries tag I found was about the TV show, so here’s one with bookish questions.
It’s no secret I dislike most TVD characters but hopefully it’s not that noticeable with these prompts. I didn’t add any characters from The Originals in case I decide to make a tag for them.
There’s so many amazing kickass characters but there’s also some that it feels like they always needs saving. I decided to go with Obsession by Jennifer L. Armentrout. Serena in a human in the world of aliens, so she needs to be saved by her boyfriend and there´s only one book so we didnt get to see her become as bad ass as Katy.
Roth from The Dark Elements by Jennifer L. Armentrout. He’s selfish like Damon is but would do anything for Layla just like Damon would for Elena.
It has been awhile since I’ve mentioned Crossfire by Sylvia Day, so I’m going to go with both hero and heroine– and now I feel like rereading the series again.
Stefan is “the good” brother and people rarely talk about good guys when there’s so many amazing bad guys. There’s quite a few I like but I’m going to go with Magnus Chase from Magnus Chase by Rick Riordan since Percy Jackson is getting it’s own show. Magnus is sarcastic but he’s such a good guy and I’m still sad the series only had three books.
Kit Herondale from The Dark Artifices by Cassandra Clare. I didn’t dislike Emma and Julian but I just didn’t like them so much either. I don’t know what’s it about Herondales I always end up loving, except Stephen Herondale.
Knox from Dark In You series by Suzanne Wright. Knox is a very powerful demon and he became even more powerful when he found his mate.
Black Dagger Brotherhood by J.R Ward has a few sociopathic characters but my favorite is probably Wrath.
I’d go with The Infernal Devices but I already mentioned one Cassandra Clare book, so I’m going with Transcendence by Shay Savage. This is unrealistic timetravel romance about heroine traveling back in time and meets a caveman and they fall in love.
Imagine Me by Tahereh Mafi. I already own the copy but I’m a little scared to read it because it’s the last book and I’ve heard mixed things about it.
Simon and Blue were each others’ first loves in Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli. It has been three years since I read it but these two were just so cute together.
Layla and Zayne from The Dark Elements by Jennifer L. Armentrout. Zayne’s feelings just came out of nowhere and I hate how he kept secrets from her.
