My favorite genre is Fantasy/Paranormal romance. I’m going to go with Obsession by Jennifer L. Armentrout. I love reading Lux series but it was so interesting to read about how Arum saw their ‘war’ and how Hunter wasn’t as evil as Daemon always said and how he fell in love with a human. I also loved that this was for adult audience.
Muffin Top by Tabatha Kiss is pretty short. I own very few contemporary books compared to my Fantasy books collection and this book has like 167 pages. I’ve read it few times and it has romance and the hero is a baker who just wants to protect our heroine.
I had my problems with The Host by Stephanie Meyer after I saw it first time but I got over the differences between the book and the movie and now I could count it as one of my favorite movies. I really like the chemistry between Ian and Wanda.
You guys might get annoyed at me for always mentioning the same book but this series still surprises me with how much I’ve been enjoying it. I just haven’t been able to finish Addicted to You series by Krista and Becca Ritchie yet. There’s so few contemporary books with friends to lovers that I enjoy. I don’t think I can even count five I like.
I’m going with Dark in You series by Suzanne Wright. I’m still obsessed with demons (send me recommendations if you have any good ones!) and this series became quickly one of my favorites. I read the series first time in 2019 and already reread it.
I don’t read many standalones unless I’m searching for free eBooks but I enjoyed Mated to the Reaper by Alexa Riley which I listened in the Read Me Romance -podcast. This book is about a Reaper who finds his soulmate but because of his past with his soulmate’s parents they don’t believe they’re really mates and try to “save” her from him.
I rarely talk about my love for Trylle trilogy by Amanda Hockings. I reread these books before I started my blog and I still loved Loki. Faeries is a big thing now and I’ve read quite a few books about them but before then I read Trylle which is about trolls. I rarely talk about this series since few has read it and even fewer likes it. Also I guess I need to reread them some time again, so I can review them.
I think my staple book is Bloodlines by Richelle Mead. It’s one of my favorites and I love Sydrian and Adrian Ivashkov so much that even my best friend who doesn’t read know a bit about the book.
The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare is maybe the only book (series) that got me into reading and I still love. There’s some amazing characters, the only likeable love triangle I’ve read about and just Will Herondale makes me love this series.
