Books I Liked But Totally Forgot What They’re About

Books I Liked But Totally Forgot What They’re About

It’s no secret that I have a memory of a goldfish. You can tell me something and I’ll be asking about it five minutes later, not because I wasn’t listening but because my memory is honestly that bad. This post came into my mind when I started re-reading The Dark Elements. I remembered loving Roth and how much I loved that book but otherwise– nada.

So I’m looking back at books I gave four or five stars once upon a time but have no idea what they’re about.

Angelfall by Susan Ee

So, there’s an apocalypse going on. I don’t remember if the angels are at fault but Penryn hates them and asks one of them for help.

I only read two books of this series. I think it was because it took forever for third book to be published. I honestly don’t know why I gave this five stars? I guess I just loved Penryn and her angel together so much.

Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin

The Unbecoming of Mara DyerI read this series back in 2015, like I did most of the books in this list. I tried reading Noah Shaw series few years ago but I remembered nothing about this one, so I DNF’d it. I remember really loving Noah in this series and he was one of my book boyfriends. I really want to re-read this series but I’m also afraid that I’m not going to like them anymore.

Vampire Girl by Karpov Kinrade

Vampire Girl

I got zero memory to this four star read but the synopsis is making me want to re-read it. I never read the second book for some reason, though.

Wings by by Aprilynne Pike

I think the heroine got wings?

Lucifer’s Daughter by Eve Langlais

Lucifer's Daughter

Lucifer is embarrassed by his daughter’s virginity and she’s just trying not be killed. Most of Langlais’ books have been a miss for me but I might need to re-read this to find out if I’ve just grown out of her writing or what. I mean I gave this five stars.

Owned by Fate by Tessa Bailey

Owned by Fate

I only remember wanting to read something involving BDSM, so I picked this one up.

Naked by Raine Miller

How many books are in this list that I loved but never picked the second book up? Like seriously. The synopsis sounds just like my kind of contemporary book. I’m considering ordering it since I don’t own enough of them.

Have you read any of these? What was your opinion of them?
