I decided to re-do one of the first tags I ever did in this blog. My reading goal this year is 150 books and I’ve read 77 of them so far. I’m still ahead of schedule so I don’t have to freak out yet.
You can read my 2018 version of this tag here.
Blaze by Suzanne Wright. I didn’t think I was going to love this series so much but some how Blaze was my favorite read so far in 2019. It has a lot of romance, demons and mystery. There are so many suspects in every book that you never know who is after Harper and Knox.
The Bride Test by Helen Hoang. I wasn’t sure of even reading this but I actually enjoyed it more than the first book of the series.
The Wicked King by Holly Black. I even own this book already but I know it’s going to leave on a cliffhanger, so I’m waiting it to be closer to the release date for The Queen of Nothing.
Wayward Son by Rainbow Rowell. I’m so exited about this sequel. I don’t read many lgbt+ books but how can you not love Snowbaz? I didn’t like Harry Potter and this Carry On (first book of the series) has been compared to that series a lot. I didn’t even like fanfiction parts in Fangirl but I can’t wait to get to read this sequel.
Moonlight Sins by Jennifer L. Armentrout. I love most of Armentrout fantasy books, so while I didn’t enjoy her college book that much I thought this was one I’d enjoy but sadly I was wrong. I was really confused in the beginning of the book and I didn’t really like how Lucian and Julia’s romance started. The whole romance was disappointing really.
Addicted To You by Krista & Becca Ritchie. Another book I didn’t plan on reading but so many people have been talking about it in book twitter, so I finally gave it a chance. Now I really want to read the second book even though they are so expensive.
Suzanne Wright. I absolutely loved her demon series and Feral Sins was pretty good too. I’m just not that big fan of werewolves.
By looking at my recent reads I’d say it’s Khai Diep from The Bride Test.
Loren Hale from Addicted to You. I haven’t had that many new favorite characters. No wonder since like half of the books I’ve read this year are once again re-reads.
Tales From The Shadowhunter Academy by Cassandra Clare was a re-read but no other book has made me cry like it did.
The Virgin Roommate by Alexa Riley. I don’t know why, maybe because I rarely love books I listen in Read Me Romance podcast so much but this book made me so happy that I could’ve re-read it immediately after finishing it.
I haven’t watched anything new yet, so I guess it’s a tie between City Of Bones and The Host re-watch.
I’m not really sure about an answer for this one.
- Why I Struggle Writing Reviews To Books I’ve Read In Finnish
- Why I Think Queliot Should Be Endgame (I’m a little bittersweet about this one)
- I Heart Characters #15; An OTP Embodying Your Favorite Romance Trope (me going on and on about Klaroline)
I honestly don’t know even half of books I plan to read but here’s few of them;
- Defy Me by Tahereh Mafi
- Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare
- To Seduce a Witch’s Heart by Nadine Mutas
I wasn’t tagged, so I’m not tagging anyone this time but feel free to do this tag if you feel like it.
