This week’s Top 5 Wednesday topic is Hyped 2019 Releases You Don’t Care AboutWe all have those releases we are so exited to get our hands off. Here’s top 5 list of releases I could care less about.

5. Again, But Better by Christine Riccio

I love her videos in Booktube don’t get me wrong! I’m just not interested in reading her book.

4. Finale by Stephanie Garber

I liked Caraval fine but I didn’t like Talla, so I never read book two. I’m not interested in reading book three either.

3. Children of Virtue and Vengeance by Tomi Adeyemi

I was never interested in her debut book “Children of Blood and Bone” and I’m still not. There’s no reason to be exited over book two.

2. King Of Scars by Leigh Bardugo

I read Shadow and Bone. I tried to read Six of Crows. I just don’t think this writer is for me, so I doubt I’ll ever open one of her books again.

1. Untitled by Sarah J. Maas

I’m not 100% sure when this is going to be released but it’s my blog– I can break the rules.

I have been talking about this forever but no book is worth dealing with Nesta. I won’t waste any money that focuses on her. It’s sad how my hate for her is stopping me for finishing this series since I love so many characters in it but I just can’t. It’s not worth the headache.

I know there’s people who love Nesta and are exited for this book. Good for them but I didn’t even like how much she appeared in ACOFAS.

Any book releases you don’t care about?

  1. I agree with you on Again, But Better! I love Christine’s personality and I think the hard work she puts into everything is really inspiring, but for some reason I have no interest in reading her novel. I would love for Kat (Katytastic, if you watch her videos) to release one of her projects though.

  2. I agree about Nesta’s book. I thought she was awful so I don’t really care about reading her story. I am looking forward to Crescent City, though!

    1. Same! It was like her drama with Nora Roberts just confirmed that I really aren’t interested in her book. I know it’s very hyped up but she’s no Rick Riordan and I wasn’t going to read her huge book just because everyone told me it’s awesome.

  3. I’m generally very hesitant about reading anything that’s hyped. I prefer to go into something without many expectations and then (ideally) be positively surprised. That doesn’t really work when everyone tells you how amazing a book supposedly is.
After all that Twitter stuff, I definitely want to read something by Nora Roberts this year!
