I Heart Characters #4; A Brainiac

This week’s The I Heart Characters topic is “A Brainiac” so I had to choose ‘A super smart character! Could be clever, sly, book smart, manipulative, if they apply their brain power it counts.’.

I decided to go with a book character again. This time I wanted to talk about Sydney Sage!

Sydney is very smart and she was home schooled. People even thought that her tattoo made her smart when she became a student at Amberwood Prep. It has been revealed that Sydney speaks six languages, almost as many as Warner in Shatter me!

This was the first time she was in actual school, so she’s very clueless about socializing and when guys are trying to ask her out. She’s also very logical person, so no wonder that she’s afraid of magic.

Sydney is also very responsible and selfless. She always worries about everyone before herself. This character grows from shy to feistier. She carries a lot of her alchemy stuff around with her, so she has many tricks on her sleeve like when she healed someone’s tattoo going wrong.

“You don’t know the first thing about me, Adrian Ivashkov. I fight back plenty.”

Sydney is almost opposite of me since she gets amazing grades. She knows a lot about almost every subject, like history and mathematics. She feels like people don’t care when she tells them things about her knowledge, though.

Despite with all this her father is never proud of her. Many people have commented that her father must be proud of her but Jared even caused Sydney’s eating distorter by commenting how she should be as thin as Moroi which is impossible.
