I saw this post in Caitlin’s blog and it looked so much fun that I wanted to do that too. I guess I should stop doing tags I’m not tagged in but they’re just too much fun! Tag was created by Jamie and here’s her post. Let’s start with the questions, then.
AUTHOR YOU’VE READ THE MOST BOOKS FROM
I think I’ve read most books from J.R Ward. I’ve read fourteen books from her Black Dagger Brotherhood series, one book from Black Dagger Legacy series and one book from her Fallen Angels series.
BEST SEQUEL EVER
There are so many sequels to choose from, but I’m going to go with The Golden Lily by Richelle Mead or A Court Of Mist And Fury by Sarah J. Maas.
Winter by Marissa Mayer. This is the last book of the Lunar Chronicles and then it’s over. Insert crying voice here.
DRINK OF CHOICE WHILE READING
Vanilla latte, hot chocolate or water. I just despite normal coffee and only drink tea when I’m sick.
E-READER OR PHYSICAL BOOK
Physical books all the way! I don’t have anything against eBooks but I only read them if I find them free from iBooks or Play Books.
FICTIONAL CHARACTER YOU PROBABLY WOULD HAVE ACTUALLY DATED IN HIGH SCHOOL
I was a big fanfiction writer when I was in high school, so I think I would’ve dated Levi from Fangirl.
GLAD YOU GAVE THIS BOOK A CHANCE
Carry On by Rainbow Rowell. Like I’ve said on a post before I wasn’t going to read this book. I didn’t like the fanfiction part of Fangirl. But then I saw some people post about Snowbaz, probably in Bookstagram and just had to give it a try and now I can’t wait for book 2 in 2020.
HIDDEN GEM BOOK
Bloodlines series by Richelle Meas and Trylle trilogy by Amanda Hocking. People say that Vampire Academy is underrated but how about it’s spin off? Bloodlines is one of my favorite series ever and needs more love, ok? My book husband; Adrian Ivashkov needs more love from readers. Other hidden gem is Trylle trilogy. There has been books about fairies but how about trolls? I think the story is good and I absolutely love Loki.
IMPORTANT MOMENT IN YOUR READING LIFE
One of the most important moment in my reading life was when I was totally obsessed over this television show called Charmed. I loved it so much that I even had to get all the books about it and read them. Other important moment in my reading life was when I saw videos about Jace and Clary from The Mortal Instruments. This was like a year or two before the movie came out and it made me start the series and it was maybe the first book series I read without seeing it on television or in films first.
The Vampire’s Mail Order Bride by Kristen Painter.
KINDS OF BOOKS YOU WON’T READ
I won’t read non-fiction, thriller or horror books. I’m just not interested in reading about those genres.
LONGEST BOOK YOU’VE READ
I have absolutely no idea. Maybe the one I’m currently reading. It has over 800 pages.
MAJOR BOOK HANGOVER BECAUSE OF
Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Claire. Do I even need to explain why? I still miss certain character.
NUMBER OF BOOKCASES YOU OWN
Two + the glass cabinet. I have a huge bookshelf for my hardcover books, shelves for my paperback books and the glass cabinet in my walk-in closet where I keep the books I might never finish.
ONE BOOK YOU HAVE READ MULTIPLE TIMES
I love rereading books but I think I’ve read Transcendence by Shay Savage the most. It’s time travel book to the prehistoric times and it’s smutty. Also it’s a short one, so not too much drama.
PREFERRED PLACE TO READ
I can read almost anywhere but my favorite place to read is my bed.
QUOTE THAT INSPIRES YOU/GIVES YOU ALL THE FEELS FROM A BOOK YOU’VE READ
“When I’m around you, I want to be better because… well, because it feels right. Because I want to. You make me want to become something greater than myself. I want to excel. You inspire me in every act, every word, every glance. I look at you, and you’re like… like light made into flesh. […] You have no clue how beautiful you are or how brightly you shine.” – Adrian Ivashkov, The Golden Lily
There were few books I made myself finish, expecting them to get better but they didn’t; Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo, A Kiss Of Shadows by Laurell K. Hamilton, Shadow Spell by Nora Roberts and Tangled by Emma Chase.
SERIES YOU STARTED AND NEED TO FINISH (ALL BOOKS ARE OUT IN SERIES)
I don’t have that many series that are out and I haven’t finished. I guess I need to finish Welcome To Hell by Eve Langlais and Passenger by Alexandra Bracken.
THREE OF YOUR ALL-TIME FAVORITE BOOKS
The whole Bloodlines Series by Richelle Mead. It has been too long since I read the series, so I’m not sure which one was the best. Maybe The Golden Lily?
Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare. This book just gave me all the feels and I’m just so happy how Clare ended this series, even when she made me cry.
Every Last Breath by Jennifer L. Armentrout. I’m just so happy that the ship I was rooting for ended up together.
UNAPOLOGETIC FANGIRL FOR
I love smutty romances. It can be contemporary, fantasy, paranormal or even science fiction.
VERY EXCITED FOR THIS RELEASE MORE THAN ALL THE OTHERS
I also love young adult books and I’m the most exited for The Darkest Star by Jennifer L. Armentrout. I can’t wait to see what happens in Lux’s spin off. Hopefully Damien and Katy will appear in it.
WORST BOOKISH HABIT
Stay up all night reading. My sleep schedule doesn’t like it when I do this. I also keep loosing my bookmarks while reading.
X MARKS THE SPOT: START AT THE TOP LEFT OF YOUR SHELF AND PICK THE 27TH BOOK
Chosen by P.C Cast and Kristin Cast. I used to love this series when I was in secondary school. Now I just like to forget that it exits but I still keep it in my bookshelf because I’d like to get motivation to finish the series some day.
YOUR LATEST BOOK PURCHASE
The Return Of Rafe MacKade. The back cover sounded interesting, it was hardcover and I wanted to give Nora Roberts one more change since I disliked like 3/4 of the books I’ve bought of hers before. I found out later that it was written in the same year I was born, so it’ll be interesting to read it.
ZZZ-SNATCHER BOOK (LAST BOOK THAT KEPT YOU UP WAY LATE)
I think it was Blood Kiss by J.R Ward. Usually fanfictions keep me up later than books.
